  The long-awaited Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle The main perfumer of the French Hermès House, Jean-Claude Ellena and Frederic Malle, again teamed up to create a new fragrance for the Frederic Malle House. The idea is "inspired" by the west wind of the mistral that blows in the south of France. The perfume received the eloquent name Rose & Cuir: it is a contrasting, romantic and complex aroma.  The sparkling sound of a rose, smoothly turning into notes of the skin; dry vetiver and fragrant cedar; blackcurrant, pepper extract timut and geranium bourdon - together it merges a rich, classic, original and freshly spicy composition. “A fragrance is a story of smells, a kind of poetry, a training of memory, and, above all, a creation of the mind,” says Jean-Claude Ellena.
